Holidaying

I have been to Western Europe last June with my sister-in-law and her daughter. This year we planned to go to Japan but it didn't materialize. So I have a change of plan. I want to visit Eastern Europe. This time my sister-in-law is not keen. I need to take someone with me and the most appropriate person would be my mum. Europe tour is rather expensive. Last year I just paid for myself. This time I have to pay for my mum too. Luckily my husband sponsored half for my mum. The tour is RM10K each. I will bring along some euro.. Can't wait for the long holidays..

It's Father's Day!

Life Lessons   You may have thought I didn't see, Or that I hadn't heard, Life lessons that you taught to me, But I got every word. Perhaps you thought I missed it all, And that we'd grow apart, But Dad, I picked up everything, It's written on my heart. Without you, Dad, I wouldn't be The woman I am today; You built a strong foundation No one can take away. I've grown up with your values, And I'm very glad I did; So here's to you, dear father, From your forever grateful kid.   By Joanna Fuchs

Assam Curry Fish

Image
I love assam curry fish and I usually would buy it. My mum can cook well too. But I didn't make the effort to learn it. However, this morning, I wanted to try cooking it but it would be very simple...  I got the Baba's curry powder and the assam jawa ready.  Stirr-fried the sliced big onions and the chopped garlic.  Poured in the curry powder paste and the assam jawa juice. Added a pinch of salt and some sugar.  Added the fish and simmered them. Lastly, served it with rice.. yummy..

Exercise

Those days I used to do stretching when I was at the gym. Sometimes I did it in the park too. But I haven't done any stretching at the park or gym ever since I started helping at my husband's shop. Well, last week I had the urge to try those equipments at the park. I just did on two of them.. It was a hot morning..I just jogged a bit.. and when I reached this junction, I had to go for my favorite equipment..  I used to be able to do a quick ten but this time I couldn't reach that.. Next, I tried this push-up equipment. It's much easier. It was a good sweat-out..I would love to do it again..
