Chocolates
I simply love these chocolates which I bought from KLIA.
It has been 5 months since I started blogging. So all those chocolates for our indulgence! They are simple delicious!
Belgian chocolate has been popular since the 18th century, but in 1912, a new process created by Jean Neuhaus increased its popularity ten-fold. Neuhaus, using a special type of chocolate called "couverteur" as a cold shell, produced what he called 'pralines'.
Switzerland was one of the first countries after Belgium to manufacture chocolate. Knowledge of chocolate reached Switzerland after the mayor of Zurich, Heinrich Escher, visited Brussels in 1697.
Loacker is the market leader in Italy in the production of wafers and chocolate specialities. The wafers and chocolate specialities are known for their unique natural taste, delightful lightness and characteristic packaging design. They are simply light, natural and delicious.
In 1949, LINDT Swiss Maîtres Chocolatiers created LINDOR, a unique chocolate recipe with a smooth melting filling that delivered a completely new chocolate experience.
Bounty is a chocolate bar manufactured by Mars, Incorporated and sold internationally. It was introduced in 1978. It has a coconut filling covered with milk chocolate (sold in a blue wrapper) or dark chocolate (sold in a red wrapper) and is one of the few chocolates to come wrapped in two individual halves.
Snickers is a candy bar made by Masterfoods USA of Hackettstown, NJ, a division of Mars, Incorporated. It consists of peanuts, nougat topped with roasted peanuts and caramel covered with milk chocolate.
Golden Boronia is Australia's Number 1 Nougat. Made with the natural goodness of honey, almonds, eggs, glucose syrup, edible wafer paper and is 100% cholestrol free! It is a delightfully crunchy nougat that explodes in the mouth with a tantalising nutty flavour that's locked in until the very last minute.
The Dove brands cover a wide range of products including chocolate bars in milk chocolate, Caramel and Fruit & Nut varieties, Minstrels, Ripple (milk chocolate with a folded or "rippled" milk chocolate centre), Amicelli, Duetto, Promises, and Truffle.
Guylian is a Belgian chocolate manufacturer founded by Guy Foubert in 1960. The company takes its name from the combination of Foubert's first name (Guy) with that of his wife, Liliane.

HERSHEY'S KISSES Brand Chocolates, a little product with a big future, were first introduced in 1907. While it's not known exactly how KISSES got their name, it is a popular theory that the candy was named for the sound or motion of the chocolate being deposited during the manufacturing process.
HERSHEY'S KISSES Brand Chocolates have been an American classic since 1907. Loved for their unique shape and foil wrap, these bite-sized chocolates now come in many delicious varieties - Milk Chocolate, Milk Chocolate with Almonds, SPECIAL DARK Chocolate, HUGS Chocolates, Chocolate filled with Caramel and Chocolate filled with Peanut Butter.

ReplyDeleteCongrats on 5 months of blogging! I almost couldn't look at your blog today as I started (FINALLY)a diet and no more chocolate!! I love Lindt milk chocolate very much, I guess you could say I am addicted to it! Well I will just get my chocolate fix from your photos!
ReplyDeleteI like to buy chocolate at Pulau Langkawi, it offers more varieties of chocolate.
ReplyDeleteBrunei has good chocolates...
ReplyDeleteYour pics brought back a lot of memories. When I was young when a boy gave chocolate to a girl it meant he was having a crush on her....because he had no handphone to text her! And a land line call would reveal his thoughts too loudly!!
It would have been great if the boys had tried harder...then not so many good girls remain unmarried until today.
i am a chocolate lover too hehehhe....
