We went sightseeing in Macau 5 days ago. Firstly, it's the Ah-Ma Temple. It was pretty crowded as the routes were so narrow and steep.

Next, we visited the Sands casino. I just had a look inside the casino so no jackpot..

Then, we crossed over to the other side of the road and visited the Fisherman's Wharf.

The Fisherman's Wharf ( 澳門漁人碼頭) is the first theme park in Macau. It is located near the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Pier. The construction took 5 years and the opening trial operation began on December 31, 2005. It was officially opened on December 31, 2006.
The complex includes over 150 stores and restaurants in buildings built in the style of different world seaports such as Cape Town, Amsterdam and Venice, six rides, a slots hall, a 72-room hotel, and a casino.

Hong Kong - review

We went for some sightseeing in Hong Kong 5 days ago.

The Golden Bauhinia Square金紫荊廣場 is an open area in Wan Chai North, Hong Kong.

The sculpture is deemed a very important symbol for the Hong Kong people after reunification. On the second day of Chinese New Year and National Day of the People's Republic of China, the square is lighted up by a firework show.

The sculpture, a gilded flower bauhinia, is 6 meters high. The major part is composed of a bauhinia on a base of red granite pillar on a pyramid.

The square was named after the giant statue of a golden Bauhinia blakeana at the centre of the area, situated outside the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, where the ceremonies for the handover of Hong Kong and the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region was held in July 1997. A flag-raising ceremony is held every day at 8:00am.
But we missed the flag-raising ceremony.

The 108 meter (354 ft) tall Eiffel Tower dominates the skyline and the sight of the Pyramids and the Taj Mahal all in proximity to each other are all part of the appeal of this theme park.

Day 3 Macau - Zhuhai - Panyu

MACAU

Before the Portuguese settlement in the early 16th century, Macau was known as Haojing (Oyster Mirror) or Jinghai (Mirror Sea). The name Macau is thought to be derived from the A-Ma Temple (traditional Chinese: 媽閣廟; Jyutping: Maa Gok Miu), a temple built in 1448 dedicated to Matsu — the goddess of seafarers and fishermen.
