Cervical Cancer

When we were just about to exit the Street, we saw this big truck with loud music.

a project by National Cancer Society Malaysia, "Power Over Cervical Cancer"

Out of curiosity, we approached the truck. A girl asked us to do the "Cervical Cancer Risk Test"

It was just a simple questionnaires. My sister answered it, got a nice pink pen in return. She also donated a bit.

But I just did the online "Cervical Cancer Risk Test" just now.

A little bit of awareness can always save us, but how many of us really take that few minutes to understand ourselves?
I am one of them though am a frequent blood donor.

That's interesting to have a drive by testing truck to help in cervical cancer awareness.

Taking the risk test isn't enough. Have medical check up if possible. Cervical cancer is one of the most common cancer among women.

Ya, my feeling is just like manglish, i really thought they would ask you ladies to do pep smear inside that van, with the loud music blasting away,,,lol

Yes, I agree, women has the tendency to have it. So we need to have a check up, but conducting a test is good. Well done. Thanks for sharing and the visit too.

Very interesting, but generally I am a bit wary of medical examinations.

It is good to know if we are at risk. Each year I have my medical examination :).

I saw a similar van near the community centre I went for classes last week, but it's for residents of that area only. Anyway I had mine done in a polyclinic, pap smear and mammogram, it's a yearly affair for me.
