Two weeks ago, my mum called me to tell me that she was going for a physiotherapy for her backbone. After she had done her first session, I called her and she told me that her second session would be tomorrow. So I wanted to see her. Since my eldest girl came back for her holidays, I suggested that we visited my mum. My youngest girl tagged along. My mum was so happy to see us. We went for our dinner in town. After dinner, we rested at home. I messaged my friends and we decided to meet for an early breakfast the next day. We met at 8am and another two friends came later. We left after about 90 minutes.  In fact I went there again with my mum and my two girls for their lunch. I was too full to take lunch. After that, we explored the new emporium in town, The Taiping Mall. Didn't buy much things. Just bought some biscuits and a pair of shoes for my girl  and another pair for myself. With much satisfaction, we went back to my mum's place...

This getaway was planned about two months ago. I was looking forward to it. And the time was right as the boss had recovered from his surgery of his little finger.  We arrived First World Hotel yesterday morning by a coach. It was already 10.30am and we were waiting for another friend who was supposed to check-in our room for us. The hotel lobby.. We waited here for almost 2 hours. Then we adjourned to the convention centre to have a look. At the same time, we got our room key, entrance tickets and our lucky draw tickets. We rested in our room and got ready by 5pm. At 5.30pm, we met our upline and took a picture with her. We had a chinese-styled dinner. The award winning event ended at about 11pm.   The next day, ie today, we went to explore. Recently many incidents had happened.. On the 2nd September, my boss was robbed as he wanted to do banking at about 4pm. Two masked men came out from a heavily-tinted car and tried to slash him with a parang. Luckily he managed to run but unfortunately he fell while crossing the divider near our shop. As you already knew, his little finger was cut by the parang. Two weeks later, his cousin's wife was slashed by a guy with a parang after she had closed the shop at night. Her knee was badly hurt. A boss was robbed of his cash when he wanted to enter the bank in town. Recently, my friend's cousin's was robbed at parang point just after he parked his car at the porch. Luckily he was not hurt. So much had happened.. Anyway, my boss is recovering and his little finger has yet to function normally. In a nutshell, we need to be very careful and be alert of our surroundings. Well, I mentioned before that I have a friend who deals in Brooks. I got all my shoes from him as he gave me the best price.  Recently I got this pair of Ghost 7 Brooks shoes from him. He gave me 30% discount. He has been very kind. It's for my boss since our wedding anniversary is just around the corner.. Yesterday was a good excuse to go for a special dinner at Yum Yum with my two kids. Because it's a Sunday! Happy anniversary to us.. Recently, the boss was being robbed and his little finger was hacked by a parang. He's recovering. And I become a boss again as I work from morn till night. The big boss has to rest.. That explains why I hardly go online. I need to sleep early as I need to get up early to prepare our lunch! Just waiting patiently for the boss's MC to be expired so that I can go to work later like before..

Since my previous two dogs had passed away, only left Teddy which is almost 7 years old. It's high time for us to get a new pet. But we were not seriously thinking about it until recently when a friend approached me. She insisted that I adopt one of her puppies which were born on the 8 August. I was still hesitant as I knew I would be burdened. But the boss was keen about it. She then brought the puppy to our shop last Saturday. The little puppy seemed so quiet. I took her home in the evening. Teddy was furious. He barked non-stopped for almost half an hour. He almost bit the puppy's tiny ear. I had to scold Teddy. My girl bought the milk powder from the pet shop. I gave Hebe the milk and she loved it. Soon she fell asleep. She's so cute and I told my kids that she slept like a roasted pig. :) But I supposed she missed her mama as she was crying for the past two nights. She was active and wanted to come out and play. Last Friday while I was at work in the evening, there was thundering. I feared such loud thundering as I had experienced many times whereby my tv, desktop, modems and phones got struck by lightnings. Upon the first thunder, I quickly called my girl to pull off the modem wire but I guess I was too late. A loud thunder struck again. I had foreseen the worst.   When I reached home after work at 10pm, my girl shouted that the line was dead. I knew it! But I was alright as I could pay for my maxis mobile internet. I had to pay RM2 daily until today. I called 100. TM answered and the telephonist told me that he would send my report as soon as possible. Our phone line was dead and was not restored even after a day. I call TM again. This time I was told that my area cable was destructed and time was needed to get them sorted out. Initially I had no intention to buy a cake. But since this friend came early to meet me, we walked to the nearby bakery.   Susan is a regular customer and she has become a good friend since she enrolled me to Insaan which deals in sea cucumber jelly and Greenz (fiber). This business is good at my shop. I got this cake from Gold Vision instead of Family which was my first target. Why? Because the person at Family was so rude.  Uncle Siva with his wife drove us to the restaurant for our Indian food. Of course, birthday celebration wouldn't be fun without a cake. Luckily I bought it and we had 5 candles lighted. Birthday song was sung and we forgot to make a wish except uncle Siva. Uncle Siva's birthday is tomorrow and we gave him the privilege to cut the cake. Then his wife fed him a piece of it. So charming! Everyone of us had a big plate of rice with varieties of Indian food. Naidu was so happy! I had said something funny that made him laughed....
