Heavenly Lantern

During our stay at the Toucheng Farm, we were taught how to make the heavenly lantern. Steps demonstrated and we followed them carefully. After my group's lantern was folded and glued nicely, we had to write our wishes on every piece of it.

Each and everyone of us had to write something with a chinese brush.
I wrote "Happy and Healthy Always".

Since there was some space left, I was tempted to draw a scenery for my blogger friends in the hope that all of you are in the best of health..

The lantern was ready to be lighted at its base..

I was supposed to shoot a picture of them holding on to the lantern before releasing.
Oops! Too late..It just flew up..

It flew up up to the sky..

joining the others..

Finally, all the 5 lanterns were flying endlessly in the sky until it disappeared..
