Southend-on-Sea

Annie drove me to Southend which is rather far away. She wanted me to see the sea of England..

Southend-on-Sea is a unitary authority area, town and seaside resort in Essex. The district comprises of a few towns including Thorpe bay. It is situated within the Thames Gateway. It is also home to the longest pier in the world, The Southend Pier.

Lovely view of the sea..
Love the cool breezy air..

The beach huts on the right.

Sea life adventure..
Didn't get in to see what it's all about..

Thorpe bay..
The beach doesn't have fine sand..

I bought two boxes of fudge meant for my two blogger friends.
I just bought the single rum and raising fudge for myself.

Adventure island..
Just took a picture of it..

Bought an England cap for my boss.
Glad he likes it.

It's a short trip as we had to go back to get ready for my trip to the airport. So we actually just had a stroll along the beach and experienced the cool air there.
