wrong bike
Yesterday, an Indian customer came to buy some stuff from our shop. He used to park his bike right in front of our shop.
After settling his bill, he walked out and he was shocked as he couldn't find his bike. Apparently someone had ridden away his bike. But how the heck that person could use his bike as it was locked! His key was still with him.
All he could do was to wait. After a short while, his bike came back. Someone was ridding it. It was a Chinese man. He returned the bike and apologized profusely. Seemed he had thought that was his bike. Furthermore, his key could start the bike. He presumed it was his until he came to a junction. He realised something was wrong with that bike. There was no basket fixed to the bike! His very own bike has a basket!
Immediately he realised that he must have ridden the wrong bike.
Everyone had a good laugh. So later my staff bought 4D and guess what? The number came out as consolation prize! Wow!
Guess luck has came to our shop as a disguise..
Well, I would like to announce my top three regular commenters. All in, I have 29 posts in October not including this post.
They are Small Kucing, SK and Yan!
Congratulations!
Oh gosh.. both men must be shocked in their own way... hahahaa.. glad to hear all well ends well...
ReplyDeletethe Indian guy was totally in shock as he thought his bike was stolen.
DeleteCongrats to all winners!
ReplyDeleteThis incident makes me recall of my own encounter.
DeleteI used to ride my mom's bicycle to buy newspaper from nearby stall. Once I rode the wrong bicycle and realized it halfway! Had returned it back to the owner (whom was the newspaper vendor) with red face, hahaha!
Sometimes it just happens when we are in a hurry. I experienced once when I tried to put my key into a keyhole which belonged to another car but exactly the same color and made. Furthermore it's parked just beside me.. :)
DeleteDid the owner buy some 4D and win himself extra cash?
ReplyDeletegot to ask him..
DeleteThis was indeed a very funny incident. It happened to my dad before.
ReplyDeletefunny and it will remain in our memory forever..
DeleteMy dad was nearly scolded by an aunty, who thought my dad wanted to steal her bike. My dad quickly apologized to her and explained to her that he had mistakenly thought it was his bike.

Deletehahaha!! this is funny, and luckily the real owner wasn't pissed off at all.. he's quite patient to still wait for his bike in your shop huh??
ReplyDeleteyes, this customer is a cool guy..today he came to our shop again and this time I bought his motor number..
Deletei mean in normal circumstance, when somebody lost his bike, for sure the first thing is to make a police report rather than still calm and chit chatting with you~~ :D
ReplyDeletewell, another bike is waiting for him..he won't lose anything.
Deleteyour staff is just so lucky!! so did he give some money to the real owner of the bike because he gave him the chance to strike a lottery?? :p
ReplyDeletewe hardly see the chinese man..I don't think my staff will give away a bit of his windfall.. :)
Deletehmmm, i really wonder how different key can open the same lock?? or perhaps that means they bought the same lock that comes with the same key??
ReplyDeleteactually it's so risky..
DeleteOMG, that means not all the keys and locks are unique.. especially those mass production ones.. i thot they are supposed to have as many combination of the key as possible?? or just happened that they both are so coincidentally chose the exact identical one~~ :D
ReplyDeletewell, maybe just a coincidence..
DeleteEveryone involved will remember it for life! Great story to tell their grandchildren as well. LOL!

he was hoping for that and it came true..
DeleteGuess when the bikes get older any key could start off the engine. Like I saw a case the lorry driver using a screw driver to start the engine haha. The Chinese man must have drank lots of Oolong tea haha..Congratz to the winners.
