Martyrs' Shrine

Martyrs' Shrine, Taipei was built in honor of about 330,000 men who had sacrificed their lives while trying to overthrow the Ching Dynasty.

    They put on a great display of changing the guards. That was an enormous number of people to die in the battle.

    330,000men was a huge number. Saw one article about a war where the chief had to report how many were killed at the end of each day. But on that day there was no casualty he wrote on the board "O.K." ie "zero killed". How true? May they RIP. tQ

We went for breakfast one day and I was fascinated by those angry birds balloon. They were so colorful and kids would definitely love them.. angry birds balloons..lelong..lelong.. @@@ In Angry Birds , players control a flock of multi-colored birds that are attempting to retrieve eggs that have been taken by a group of evil green pigs. On each level, the pigs are sheltered by structures made of various materials such as wood, ice and stone, and the objective of the game is to eliminate all the pigs in the level. Using a slingshot, players launch the birds with the intent of either hitting the pigs directly or damaging the structures, causing them to collapse and kill the pigs.
