Lake Pukaki
The Lake Pukaki Visitor Centre is located in the centre of the spectacular Mackenzie Basin at the Mount Cook Lookout on the Shores of Lake Pukaki. The Centre is on the main highway approximately half way between Queenstown and Christchurch.

Southern Alps and Aoraki Mt Cook, southwest of Christchurch. Mt Cook,

ReplyDeleteI believe it was cold and windy with the big lake in between. You are so blessed and fortunate to visit so many exotic places.
ReplyDeleteThe height of Mt Cook is 12,316ft and Mt Kinabalu is 13,435ft high BUT Mt Cook looks more impressive than Mt Kinabalu because of the lovely lake and its longer range of mountains.
