Waitaki District
The Waitaki district, in the Canterbury and Otago regions of New
Zealand, straddles the traditional border between the two regions, the
Waitaki River.
We were passing by and our nice tour guide cum driver made a stop for us to take some pictures.
I took the picture of the snow among the bushes when I stepped down from the coach.
I held some fluffy snow..
squeezed them..
and it was meant to become a ball. :)
It was snowing so I had to cover my head.
Braved the cold..
I won't forget the softness of the snow.
So clean and fresh too..
Wish I could stay longer..
but we had to move on..
Soft and clean snow... remarkable moments for you and your SIL.

ReplyDeleteYou were so strong and could brave the snow. I recall the snow storms in US and TV would announce all schools had to close. We always screamed in joy! The roads would have 4-5 feet of snow and it looked exciting & awesome! I miss those days now.
