Blessing with ang pow

My girl who has just celebrated her birthday is now somewhere just for a couple of months. She left on Wednesday evening but I didn't have the time to even send her to the bus station. So sorry for that. Luckily she has a wonderful teacher who had willingly driven her to take a bus to LCCT.

Before I left for work on Wednesday, I prepared two ang pow for her. She was still asleep at that time.

My notes which I kept from my last trip to the country.
I gave all to her except the big notes.
In fact she has more than enough already..

Another customary ang pow which I will give to my kids.
They will usually put it under their pillows.

She has to use my luggage as she couldn't find one for herself
or rather just be thrifty..

Anyway, I will need to get a new luggage for myself before I 'makan angin' again.

Enjoy your stay over there, my girl!
You will be back real soon
to continue your studies here.

  2. Is there a special reason to give RM159? or are the notes in the photo just an example?

  3. May your daughter enjoy her stay at the "somewhere". Guess it is not for leisure but for something more important as she has to leave without celebrating Chinese New Year with all of you, her family.
