Pay Day

I have to prepare my people's pay every month. I always make sure I get it done before the end of the month. My people will only get their pay on the first day of the new month. That's the boss's principle. 

But last month was a really busy month for me. I am still doing the hampers which should be ready by the 5 Feb 13. So far I had wrapped 10 and I need to finish another 30..They are actually being ordered by a bank officer.

So yesterday night, I kept myself busy preparing the pay. Actually I just have to get the necessary details of my staff and our secretary's clerk would prepare for me. I just have to check through and write all the necessary details in the record book. Next I have to prepare the cash and more cash..
We have 'punch card' so I need to check through. After I have done for my staff, I have to prepare my part-time workers' wages..

Here I was seriously calculating and it was still not ready yet. I have to continue it soon. Otherwise, no pay for today! My people would surely kill me..

    Hope you have completed calculating the salary so that your people will get their pay tomorrow! It is frustrating not to get salary on time. Oops, don't mean to pressure you if you are still calculating at this time - 1am.

    Toukeh soh isn't easy job. Need to make sure all employees get their pay on the pay day. Otherwise, very hard to explain.

    Rush rush rush, and you're doing a good job making sure that the staff get their pay on time. CNY is just around the corner and I'm sure they'll appreciate their pay given on time. :)

We visited the famous Harrods.. the Harrods building   the store's interior has an Ancient Egyptian theme... Twin bananas

Today this cute little darling visited me. His grandparents brought him over for the very first time. He's so cute as he smiled readily. I was tempted to carry him and he was fine with that. Some babies don't like strangers.  I carried him and kissed his cheek several times..So adorable. Without hesitation, I gave him an ang pow. his granddad put him on the table and I took a shot of him.. When I went back home in the evening, I realized that the bunch of bananas at the altar has ripen. I brought the bunch to my shop and shared with my people. There was this particular twin bananas and my worker wanted them. She peeled them and I could see that they were adjoined all the way down. Well, old wives tale has it that those ladies who ate them would give birth to twins in future..
