CNY day 1
I boiled 'pat chan' overnight and so it was ready as soup for breakfast this morning. I cooked vermicelli for all of us. This is what my mum will usually prepare for us during the first day of CNY. So to carry on the tradition, I made the effort this morning.
A bowl of pat chan misua with a hard-boiled egg and lettuce.
As for lunch, I steamed the fish. Just added sesame oil, soya sauce, garlic and ginger.
When the fish was ready, I added the spring onions and crispy onions.
I had stewed the pork overnight too.
Just poured the stewed pork with Japanese tofu over the
blanched broccoli and carrots.
Butter cereal prawns
After lunch, at 3pm we went to AEON Ipoh. Just walked around and bought a pair of shoes for both my boy and my girl.
Anything that's red attracted me..
Happy Chinese New Year!
Tomorrow I will be visiting my siblings and relatives.
Got to get ready the ang pow..
