Year of the horse

Horse is a very special animal. My kids love horses and I would take them to visit the horses should there be any horse show.

This gift and the CNY card was given by my two customers cum friends. The gift is so beautiful. What does the Chinese phrase say?

The spirit of the horse is recognized to be the Chinese people's ethos – making unremitting efforts to improve themselves. It is energetic, bright, warm-hearted, intelligent and able. Ancient people liked to designate an able person as 'Qianli Ma', a horse that covers a thousand li a day (one li equals 500 meters).

    horses are indeed very beautiful animals.. and come to this year of horse, i guess you can probably see 馬到成功 almost everywhere, it's used to wish someone success in things he/she is doing or going to do..

      Yes Libby, horse is an intelligent animal too! But sometimes very pity them as they need to carry lots of weight, and run a long distance!

We visited the famous Harrods.. the Harrods building   the store's interior has an Ancient Egyptian theme... Harrods is a high-end department store located in Brompton Road in Brompton , in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea , London . The store occupies a 5-acre (20,000 m 2 ) site and has over one million square feet ( 90,000 m 2 ) of selling space in over 330 departments.   The Harrods motto is Omnia Omnibus Ubique—All Things for All People, Everywhere . Twin bananas

Today this cute little darling visited me. His grandparents brought him over for the very first time. He's so cute as he smiled readily. I was tempted to carry him and he was fine with that. Some babies don't like strangers.  I carried him and kissed his cheek several times..So adorable. Without hesitation, I gave him an ang pow. his granddad put him on the table and I took a shot of him.. When I went back home in the evening, I realized that the bunch of bananas at the altar has ripen. I brought the bunch to my shop and shared with my people. There was this particular twin bananas and my worker wanted them. She peeled them and I could see that they were adjoined all the way down. Well, old wives tale has it that those ladies who ate them would give birth to twins in future..
