Tambun Roundabout

Tambun Roundabout is a very special roundabout in Ipoh. We were on our way back from the Polo Ground and I observed those lovely views.

Here's the replica of the crown at the roundabout.
It looks much better with the fountain which is usually only operated at night.

  3. Very Malay - I guess that's typical of many towns in West Malaysia. Our towns here look quite different...

  6. I prefer less structures at round-abouts in this country. I believe there is much better use of public funds than putting up so many kinds of structures.

  7. I never thought a highway could be pretty, but this is quite a fun route.

  8. What a descriptive term "roundabout". Trying to think what would be comparable in the US--perhaps "the circle". Anyway whatever its name, the palm trees are so beautiful and healthy.
