Diary

Have you ever written a diary? I had when I was being in love with my only loved one. I kept it till I had to shift to my present place. Before I shifted I had torn away the diary and only kept those cards. Those days we corresponded through snail mails and I even kept them till I got married. But I had already destroyed all of them many years back.

Recently, I attended my aunt's funeral and my mum told me that the family had found a diary which belonged to my late aunt. In her diary, she had written in Chinese what she had done since 2003. That means it had been 10 years since she started writing.

She had even mentioned me whereby she visited my home. She could even recall the time she started her journey from one place to another. I was amazed that she could recall all that happened after she had come back from a visit to different places.

It is a treasure to the family and I was hoping to have a glimpse of the diary one day...

  1. My head is my diary and my family members are scared of me. I remember things that happened even when I was barely 2 years old. My wife writes a diary for the last 10 years and I dare not even peek.....coz my name is not on good hands.

  2. Maybe Wenn you can translate your aunt's diary into English and create a blog for it if your aunt's estate approves you doing so.

  3. I had this diary practice when I was young, like 10-11 year old? Coz that's when all the young girls in school started writing diaries (about boys, puppy love and all, you know, those kinda thing), and I had to follow (peer pressure).

I still remembered they have this lock+key in the diary, and the diary was very cute. We had Hello Kitty, Little Twin Stars, My Melody, Strawberry Shortcake, all sorts of characters..

  4. Used to keep during school days but thrown away. And i remember back then the kids love to keep autograph and passing around in the class so everyone can write their details and contacts.

I wonder kids now do it or not

  9. oh!! why did you destroyed those pages of diary and also the love letters?? you should have kept them safe and when you are free, you take them out to read and cherish the sweet moments you had with your hubby.. i really think it's a waste to have destroyed them, they are part of your memories..
