Stratford-u-Avon

25 Nov 2013: Here's the place where we got to see Shakespeare's home town. And the statue to tell us that we were at the right place. We were going to have a walking tour in this town.

If you had studied Shakespeare's literary works, you would understand the meaning behind each statement. As for me, I only knew, "Hamlet" and "As You Like it"..

I studied these two literary books of Shakespeare for my STPM which I took privately when I first became a qualified teacher. I studied privately through post from the Cambridge College in Singapore.

  4. after seeing the photos of the quotes you taken at all four sides, now i think this statue is kind of interesting.. all four sides carved with dialogues from Shakespeare's famous literature.. i've heard of Hamlet and Twelfth Night, not the other one..

  7. I really had a hard time reading literature during secondary school and tore my hair out!!!
    I knew that I could not study law since literature was not my cup of tea. i salute those who really love old literature books! Faintz!..... LOL

  8. Wow, this really brought back memories. I went there more than 10 years ago. I can only digest Shakespeare works not in their original form poem but in stories form.

  11. I studied Shakespeare's Julius Caesar and The Merchant of Venice when I was in secondary school. If I have a chance I would love to visit his home town too.
