Kuala Lumpur

I received this black and white postcard of KL from Mun recently. It's beautiful as it's so rare for us to receive this kind of postcard. I love it! Thanks Mun!

As usual, every postcard brings back sweet memories. When I was staying in PJ, I used to visit KL especially the railway station.

I lived in PJ and I always took the train back to my hometown practically every month or so..

My very first time to KL after my studies. I worked in an engineering company which dealt in all kinds of products. I was the clerk there and the company was full of salesperson, managers and executives. It was a nice place to work and all my colleagues were joyful lot.

The company even had its award presentation day and I became the assistant on the stage during the presentation.
It was a good experience. I just worked there for 10 months and I had received a mini calculator with my name engraved on it. I even had some bonus when I resigned to pursue my teacher's training course.

I won't forget my first and last experience working in  such a big company.

  1. Hello Wenn,

I am glad that you love it. Thank you for sharing about your first work experience in KL with us. Is the mini calculator with your name on it still with you after all these years?

Good night. Have a good weekend!

  3. oh, how nice of mun to send you a postcard.. i think this postcard taken in modern days using sepia effect rather than really taken as it was like 50 years ago huh?? the latter would be very very precious, and i guess it's definitely difficult to find now..
