Quarrel

We have a sales promoter who comes every Friday to promote her white coffee. She is really good in promoting it. I can see that she really makes sure that her sales is good for the day.

Well, this evening, I was shocked when I heard her quarreling with my new worker. She accused him of telling the customer that her white coffee was not delicious. Another kind of white coffee was better than hers..the accusation..

My new worker, H, was trying to defend himself. I couldn't do much as it was a non-stopped quarrel.

When they had dispersed, I could sensed that the sales promoter was not happy. She wanted to complain to the boss.

When I saw the boss later, I told him about the incident. He said that the problem has been solved. He told H to mind his own business. He had better promote the herbal stuff. Then only he would be considered smart!

So much for the incident, the new month is soon to be here. Tonight, my girls and I went for a movie, the "Breaking Dawn". Good to break away from my routine..

From the month of December onwards, I will check my daily commenters. Only those who have commented daily will be the top commenters.

  2. but come to think of it, the salesperson is too defensive of her product.. when people are giving negative comments, then she should actually noted that and then perhaps feedback to her own company and not just quarreling there.. this is so not professional..

    2. SK is right that the sales person should remain calm and accept whatever criticism. She should analyze the product quality instead.

    3. I think the sales person is a hot and quick tempered person by nature!! Too much coffee gets her heated up easily. Maybe she should sell cooling tea to calm herself. Lol

  3. well, no idea why your boss ask your staff to just promote the herbal stuffs?? maybe just to avoid the conflicts again?? hmmm, but sometimes customers may ask for opinions, then i think your staff may actually just advice the customer base on his own preference..

  6. People would face a rough patch every now & then and the mood could be easily affected when not controlled especially when negative gonna hurt the sales. Glad all is over.

  9. I think i can understand la. The promoter trying to promote her product and then some how the staff ter-step on her tail. Like many times people will say if nothing good to say, better keep quiet lor.

  10. In my department, whenever anyone outside scold or be too nasty a staff here; my manager would tell him/her to be professional and not simply pick fights.

    The manager won't pick side but the manager also won't allow the offie turn into a "pasar"

  11. The new worker was probably telling the truth about the white coffee but to the wrong people (your customers).

  12. yikes thats unhealthy for the business and i just hope they did that on private and there nothing physical betwwen the two of them that would be disturbing fir the others especially the customers

  15. on the promoter's side he just did what he has to do for the product but i still think that he should have consulted the boss instead of have a fight with h thats a better way to deal with it
