Just Being A Mum
I suddenly got this idea. So I will just write it short before I get on with my house chores..
Mother's Day is just around the corner. Have we ever thought of what to do or get for our mum? Well, my mum is a very conventional one. Even if we don't get anything for her, she won't mind a bit.
I don't remember there was Mother's Day when I was young. So we siblings didn't do anything or celebrate at all. Until now, we don't celebrate for my mum too.
So I was thinking...Should I do something for my mum? My mum is not with me right now. She is at her hometown. Maybe I should just go back to see her and surprise her.
Have we ever stop and ponder about our mum? I guess we should. What are you going to do to surprise your mum??
Mum, I love you!
But it seems awkward for me to say it face-to-face. What about you?
Have a nice dinner with her and bring the closest family members too. The awkward feeling will be vanish hehee...
ReplyDeletethat would be great
DeleteYeah, u r very right.. much as we love our moms, but we find it hard to say I Love You.. why is like that?
ReplyDeleteguess we are not so used to it
Deletehehe.. I surprise my mum by sending her the Kleenex Tissue... hehehe..
ReplyDeletemum loves surprises too
DeleteIt is just not my upbringing to say "I love you mum" to her and I don't think she is comfortable hearing that. My spending time with her and my concern for her shows my love for her. She has a special place in my heart that no one can replace.
ReplyDeletetrue..we need to care for them
Deletesweet :)
ReplyDeleteI surprised my mum twice during her Birthday and she appreciated it.
ReplyDeletethat's great
DeleteI usually spend more times with her same like Quay Po...she knew we love her so so much!
ReplyDeletespending time with our mums shows that we love them
Deleteyeah, i think mums of the older generation don't even bother what a mother's day is..
ReplyDeletesometimes i just think it's not enough just to celebrate because it's mother's day..
ReplyDeleteMother's day is just another day
Deleteit seems like many just celebrate just because it's an occasion that actually defeat the purpose behind..
ReplyDeleteanyway, it's great to celebrate too
Deletei would say, everyday should be mother's day, hahaha!! so don't really have to do anything special on that day.. it's just to show off only..
ReplyDeletejust treat it as a special day..other days are just normal day
Deletetreat your mum good and always spend time with her.. i think this is all that she wants, not just on mother's day.. :)
ReplyDeletetrue..but do something special on that one special day
DeleteI lost my mom ten years ago...so go see your mum! That is the best thing!
ReplyDeleteI will do that. Thanks.
