No Plastic Bag

We implemented the 'No Plastic Bag Day' since last January. That means we have been doing it for almost 16 months. Of course, we faced a lot of problems initially. But I was very adamant about it. My staff almost gave up but I didn't allow it. I make sure that we carry it out every Saturday from morning till 5pm.

Our Bangladesh part-time worker always helps to carry those boxes of items for our customers.


Customers already know that every Saturday is a "No Plastic Bag Day'.
Some has the initiative to even bring their own shopping bags.


Every Saturday, we need to cut those boxes for our usage since no plastic is provided.


Yes! Every Saturday is a 'No Plastic Bag Day'. I hang that at the counter every Saturday.

Be environmental friendly! Go green!
Bring your own shopping bags!

    sometimes if i can save that plastic bag, i will tell the cashier that i do not need one.. and they will be very happy :)

    for example Isetan, they still give plastic bag on saturdays.. but then they are now using biodegradable ones, which is more environmentally friendly.. still, i think using one less is doing best to the environment..

      biodegradable ones are very expensive..boxes are much better. We can recycle them.

    I also use those plastic bags for trash. I only bring my own shopping bag on Sat..hehe.

We visited the famous Harrods.. the Harrods building   the store's interior has an Ancient Egyptian theme... Twin bananas

Today this cute little darling visited me. His grandparents brought him over for the very first time. He's so cute as he smiled readily. I was tempted to carry him and he was fine with that. Some babies don't like strangers.  I carried him and kissed his cheek several times..So adorable. Without hesitation, I gave him an ang pow. his granddad put him on the table and I took a shot of him.. When I went back home in the evening, I realized that the bunch of bananas at the altar has ripen. I brought the bunch to my shop and shared with my people. There was this particular twin bananas and my worker wanted them. She peeled them and I could see that they were adjoined all the way down.
