This afternoon a representative from Danone Dumex came to see me. She presented about Mamil Mama to me. I thought she was going to ask me a few quizzes so I was very attentive. The first time when she came over about a few months ago, I had answered her five questions about Danone Dumex correctly. She gave me 2 pens. Other than that, I had a discount of RM25 for our next Dumex order. This time, she had a survey form with her. She asked me to grade her presentation and the service rendered by the Dumex salesperson. I gave some comments after which she presented me with this pink bag. She also gave me 2 boxes of samples and leaflets to be given to pregnant customers. So ladies, if you feel you need the sample, tell me soon..I can post to you. Saw this creature for the first time in my kitchen toilet a few days ago. So my boy just pushed it into the toilet hole. But this morning I got a shock seeing the same creature up on my kitchen wall. It's about 3 in long. What is it? Is it a snail without its shell?

I have three dogs. Look at them..so cute. Well, it's good to own at least a dog. Dogs can take care of our homes. They also would scare those day or night time robbers. Here, I have a story to relate. It happened quite some time ago.. I was coming back from somewhere and as I almost reached my house, I had already pressed the gate control. My gate was fully opened by the time I reached. So I just had to continue driving and park right in the compound. My neighbor who stayed just opposite my house was also coming back from the other way. She drove into her compound the same time as me. As I had parked my car, I closed my automatic gate. Suddenly, I heard a loud cry from my neighbor. I was shocked. Quickly I came out from my car and ran to my gate. I saw a guy just simply jumped over my neighbor's automatic gate and ran away. So it seemed that the robber had chosen my neighbor's house. He managed to get into her compound as she was parking her car. My neighbor saw him so she

If you still recall the incident at my shop entitled a mistake, let me tell you that I had made the amends... After a few reviewing of the cctv, I realized that the old lady had actually placed the note on the counter next to my cashier's cash machine. My cashier didn't notice it as she was busy with the other customer on her right side. When she's done, she dealt with the next customer on her left. This customer had put her single item next to the note left on the counter. My cashier thought that the note belonged to this customer so she just grabbed the note, keyed in the price of the item, put it inside the cash drawer and gave the change to the customer. At the meantime I was done with the testing of the old lady's lanterns. My cashier wanted to collect the payment from her and that was when she insisted that she had put the note on the counter. ..... Well, I didn't feel good as it was not the old lady's fault. I really hope to meet her and make amends. So

One night, I was working at the counter. I was keying in the amount of the items bought by a customer. In the midst of it, she wanted a packet of 10kg rice. So I just called out to my worker to bring out the specified rice. I was still keying in as she bought a lot of items. When it's done, she was searching for the packet of rice. Since it was nowhere to be found, I got her a new packet. But I was wondering where was that packet of rice so I asked my worker. He said that he had put that packet on the floor. So I checked the cctv and I found that another customer had picked up that packet of rice and went out of the shop. Since that had happened, nothing could be done. I just kept quiet about it and I didn't tell my husband too. After some time, a customer came back with his long receipt and the packet of rice. He thought that we had charged him for the packet of rice that he didn't buy. I was glad that that packet of rice came back. When I rechecked the cctv, I realised t

This happened two weeks ago. This old man used to come to our shop to buy a can of beer. He doesn't talk much and his action is very slow. On this fateful day, a worker walked past the beer section and saw this man putting his hand into his pocket and there was not a can of beer to be seen on his hand. He paid for something else at the counter. So this worker quickly browsed the cctv and managed to get evidence of the shoplifting done by this old man. I was told about it so I captured his act of shoplifting with my camera. When my husband came back , I showed him the video and related what had happened. The next day, when I went to the shop after my lunch, I noticed that the old man was standing outside the shop. I asked my husband and he said that he had asked the old man to pay for the can of beer otherwise he wouldn't be allowed to enter our shop anymore. Sure enough, he dared not enter the shop anymore.. A lesson learnt: Can never predict a person by his/her look.

Yesterday at 4pm at my husband's shop, something happened.... This old lady came to the shop and wanted to try the battery operated lanterns that she bought elsewhere to see if they were still working. My worker (cashier) was testing them using our batteries. Since we had other customers waiting, she got on with her work as I took over and attended to the old lady. I saw that she was holding her purse and wanted to take out her money as she wanted to buy our batteries. I commented that those lanterns were so dirty and I was cleaning up for her. Suddenly, when my worker asked her to pay, she insisted that she had put a 10 ringgit note on the counter. Since I was not sure if she was telling the truth, I checked the cctv. She became hysterical and cried that we had cheated her. She made so much noise so I just gave her the 4 batteries that she intended to buy. She asked for the balance again. I refused and told her to come back after 6pm whereby I would have checked the cashier sales
