Yee Sang
Today, I went to Taiping which is my hometown to meet my siblings. We had Yee Sang for lunch. Yee Sang is the only Chinese dish that contains raw fish .... a very colorful dish indeed It is considered a symbol of abundance, prosperity and vigor. all ready to be tossed up used the chopsticks to toss it up.. as high as we can while saying 'auspicious wishes' The height of the toss reflects the height of the diner's growth in fortunes. all were eagerly and enthusiastically taking part the outcome! Yummy!
