Live entertainment is provided most days by a variety of musicians and performing artists including yodelling equal to any in Switzerland or Bavaria. #1 #2 #3 We were being entertained! We just loved it! They even sang 'Negaraku' and 'Rasa Sayang' to welcome us! It was such an unforgettable event!

The lunch provided at the Cuckoo was of a buffet styled. I was amazed by the variety of food. my plate So much to choose from but I just ate this much.

14/6/10 We had our buffet lunch at The Cuckoo restaurant. The Cuckoo offers a delectable smorgasbord in a warm family atmosphere with quality entertainment. It also offers an abundance of food to satisfy any gourmet. Welcome to The Cuckoo restaurant.. There's a cuckoo bird! Look at the unique lighting on the ceiling. See the sweet waitresses awaiting at the bar.. Nice decorations above the doorway. Here's the cuckoo clock.. There's even a fire place.. Dining away.. A pair of reindeer by the window. This is the biggest cuckoo clock in the world! 13/6/10 From the Mercure Hotel in Melbourne, we walked to the nearby Shark Fin Inn Restaurant in China town to have our Chinese-styled dinner. the restaurant osyter sauce lettuce shark's fins soup fried chicken mixed vegetables stir-fried brinjals steamed chicken steamed fish Those dishes were simple yet delicious!

Gurdies Winery

beautiful blue sky at the Gurdies The Gurdies Winery was established in 1982 and is the oldest winery in southwest Gippsland, in Victoria's Lakes & Wilderness area. the price list the winery store a bottle only cost $19 We were given the privilege to try out five different types of wine and lastly I bought two bottles which I gave to my brother-in-law when I met him in Sydney.

The Puffing Billy railway was one of four low-cost 2'6" (762mm) gauge lines constructed in Victoria in the early 1900s to open up remote areas. Puffing Billy is Australia’s favourite steam train and one of the finest preserved steam railways in the world. The present line between Belgrave and Gembrook, through the forests, fern gullies and farmlands of the magnificent Dandenong Ranges, is the major part of the line which opened on 18 December 1900 and operated over 18.2 miles (29km) between Upper Ferntree Gully and Gembrook until 1953. In 1953, a landslide blocked the track and, because of operating losses, the line was closed the following year. the conductor Belgrave : This station is the headquarters of the Railway, with both operating and administrative facilities. Driver and Wipers

These imposing statues, owned by the National Gallery of Victoria, were transferred from the forecourt of the State Library of Victoria to the Shrine Reserve in April 1998. The statues, by sculptor Charles Sargeant Jagger, are replicas of Jagger's original bronze sculptures: The Driver from the Royal Artillery Memorial in Cheshire. Wipers Driver ‘Wipers’ is the English translation of Ypres, the battlefields of France which claimed the lives of thousands of Australians during World War 1.
