Why did we get up the London Eye? Of course, we had to view London from atop.. up, up above all.. The spectacular views of the River Thames.. Magnificent skyline of London.. Big Ben and the Houses of Parliment London Aquarium Here's the last view of the London Eye before we adjourned elsewhere..

London Eye is a must experience. the iconic London eye with part of its supporting struts housed in a glass and mesh 'box'.  At the base is a dedication to Peter Korevaar (16th May 1941 - 8th February 2003), the  technical director and senior site engineer during the design, construction and  erection of the London eye a tribute to Peter Korevaar We were getting ready to board the London Eye.. Boarded.. The EDF Energy London Eye (commonly the London Eye , or Millennium Wheel , formerly the Merlin Entertainments London Eye and before that, the British Airways London Eye ) is a giant 135-metre (443 ft) tall Ferris wheel situated on the banks of the River Thames , in London, England. Since 20 January 2011, it has been officially known as the EDF Energy London Eye following a three-year sponsorship deal.

It was very cold in the morning when we viewed the Tower Bridge. the Queen's Walk to view the Tower Bridge from afar here's the bridge unique shaped building  view across the River Thames close-up view The bridge is 800 feet (244 m) in length with two towers each 213 feet (65 m) high, built on piers. The central span of 200 feet (61 m) between the towers is split into two equal bascules or leaves, which can be raised to an angle of 83 degrees to allow river traffic to pass. The bascules, weighing over 1,000 tons each, are counterbalanced to minimise the force required and allow raising in five minutes. The two side-spans are suspension bridges, each 270 feet (82 m) long, with the suspension rods anchored both at the abutments and through rods contained within the bridge's upper walkways. The pedestrian walkways are 143 feet (44 m) above the river at high tide. source

When I was in Germany, I didn't access my Facebook as I had to pay for the usage. But when I was in Holland, I could use the pc for free. When I tried to log in my Facebook, it was temporarily locked. I managed to unlock it anyway. Of course, there were some procedures to follow. When I was in London, my Facebook was locked again! I was asked to identify my friends. Well, that was easy.. No problem at all.. Then, I could return to my account! Another problem I faced initailly was that I couldn't get the '@'.  It's an American keyboard.  I had to ask someone for help.

H10 London Waterloo Hotel provided us with the best variety of food.. All were so tempting.. I was enjoying the food slowly on the first morning.  But on the second morning, I just had a quick light breakfast.  Then I quickly went to the pc area to log into my blogs and facebook..

Here we were at China Town, London.. Wan Chai Corner China Town gateway New Long Fung Restaurant We had our lunch here. Crispy Duck Restaurant Supermarket Fareast Restaurant Chinese Restaurant Chinatown is centrally located in the West End, along and around Gerrard Street off Leicester Square. It spreads into Wardour Street at one end and Newport Place at the other. London's Chinatown may not be quite as large as those in San Francisco or Vancouver but it is still a great place to dine out in the evening, authentically Chinese and definitely different from anywhere else in London.
