Clog Factory
It was indeed an experience to visit a clog factory in Amsterdam.
Tourists love to take picture of this large yellow clog in front of the factory.

Here's what you could see inside the factory..
The owner of the factory demonstrated on the making of clogs.
it's almost a ritual, isn't it - a trip to amsterdam is never complete without a visit to a clog factory or a picture taken with a windmill?
ReplyDelete"Kar Khiak!" Clogs in hokkien.. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Wenn, very nice. Bet they make lots of noise when walking.

Are the big clogs mostly yellow? I took a photo of a friend when we were there, and I just remembered that it was also yellow. Maybe it's the same clog!

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post...and nice photos...reminds me of the old Char Kiat of the Nyonyas...I used to wear them (not the wooden clogs) although a pair of wooden Scholls lasted me for ages...Great memories.

ReplyDeleteDidnt buy the clogs home too hard to wear and not comfortable. Bought only clog key chains.
