Happy New Year 2015

It was a quiet new year eve for me. The boss went out with his friends for the count-down but I stayed home after work. 

I even worked on the new year since my two cashiers were on leave. After work at about 6.30pm, I stayed home too. So nothing special for me this year.

But something was in store for me and my Changjiang group people today. I invited them for a new year breakfast.

Here are my best pals since uni time which was about 15 years ago.

Here is my best pal's supportive mum/MIL
She followed them to Tanjung Malim and stayed there for two years.

Not forgetting our ex-psychology lecturer in year 1999.
Last year I found him in facebook and since then we keep in touch.

Altogether there were 14 of us. We had a great time eating and chatting.

    Nice gathering!! Awesome to know that you're using Facebook to find people like your lecturer....I mean in year 1999, gosh! That's so long ago and you managed to find him and keep in touch!! Way to go!!

We visited the famous Harrods.. the Harrods building   the store's interior has an Ancient Egyptian theme... Harrods is a high-end department store located in Brompton Road in Brompton , in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea , London . Twin bananas

Today this cute little darling visited me. His grandparents brought him over for the very first time. He's so cute as he smiled readily. I was tempted to carry him and he was fine with that. Some babies don't like strangers.  I carried him and kissed his cheek several times..So adorable. Without hesitation, I gave him an ang pow. his granddad put him on the table and I took a shot of him.. When I went back home in the evening, I realized that the bunch of bananas at the altar has ripen. I brought the bunch to my shop and shared with my people. There was this particular twin bananas and my worker wanted them. She peeled them and I could see that they were adjoined all the way down. Well, old wives tale has it that those ladies who ate them would give birth to twins in future..
