Flowers as gift

Image
A customer came to our shop and put those three bundles of flowers on the counter. I thought that he wanted to sell those flowers to us. But he said, "They are for you." I was surprised, "Are you sure?" He was cool, "Sure, I always come here to buy our monthly rations." Frankly speaking, I haven't seen him before. Maybe I was too busy that I didn't notice him or I couldn't recognize him. In a while, the boss walked in. I told him about those flowers. He thanked that customer and gave him something in return. The boss was thinking, "Why a customer give things to us? I don't feel good." As for me, I don't mind at all and I was so happy to receive them.. So I brought those flowers back home and put them in vases.. Love those roses!

Fried Sengkuang

Image
My mum is very good at frying sengkuang. We would surely love it. But since my mum is not staying with us anymore, we missed it. I have to learn how to fry it. For the first few times, it was horrible. That would mean my kids would complain about it. I asked my mum why my sengkuang didn't taste as good as hers. She told me that sengkuang needs more oil.. stir fry the chopped garlic with more cooking oil add the minced meat add the sengkuang and carrot add the light soya sauce and black soya sauce stir them up until done Now I can cook up yummy sengkuang dish... Thanks mum for the tip..

The winning paragraph

Altogether 11 took part in the recent Father's Day Contest. Two of the participants were my staff. I only wanted to choose the winner from the other nine. First, we had a look at the length of the submitted paragraphs. Lengthy ones were omitted. Then we look at those posted pictures. Participants were supposed to send in their photos with their fathers. Some sent in their family photos which we thought that it's not so relevant. Then left only 4 participants. Among the four, only two really answered the question: "What makes your dad happy?" "My superhero dad is loving, humble and kind and it makes him happy to see that his children have absorbed the teachings instilled in them. It delights him when he can make me smile even on my bad days. He is happiest during school holidays when his grandchildren visit." "Dad always put us, his children first before everything else; we as his children, putting in an effort in every aspects to show...

Churp-Churp/Cod

Image
My first Churp-Churp cheque I started Churp-Churp in October 2010. It has been a year and a half and this is my first cheque. Not bad after all..I am now RM100 richer..  With that extra money, I had bought two slices of cod fish which cost me RM48. My kids love this kind of fish. Can't afford to eat it frequently as it's very expensive.. Just simply deep fried them.. delicious..

Recipe book

After my fifth form, I was working in a textile factory. After two years of working experience, I got a job as a clerk in PJ. I had already planned to start work and just before I left to PJ, my father passed away. I had to put my new job on hold. Luckily the company could wait for me. Few months before my father passed away, he had to be admitted to the Hospital Universiti. My mum had to take care of him for a few days. I had to take leave from work and stayed at home. While I was home, I cooked for my brothers and sisters. I had some recipe books which I subscribed. I am still keeping them. I referred to the recipes and managed to stir-up some dishes.. Until now, I still like recipe books. Well, here I have three of this recipe booklet. If you like to have it, please let me know. Only for the first two who want it..  It's not for sale from Tesco 22 recipes
