Basket of fruits

It has been 11 days since my husband had his minor surgery. He was discharged after a night stay at the hospital. Then he rested at home for two days and I had to take care of the shop full time. But he went back to work immediately after that. However, he still took his rest at night while I stayed till the shop closed. He went back to the clinic for follow-up by himself. I didn't need to accompany him.

His sundry association people heard about him and they came in full blast with the basket of fruits. The next day, a sales executive from a company presented him with another basket of fruits. So many fruits are scattered all over my dining table..I have to finish them up as soon as possible..

My husband doesn't like to eat fruits but surprisingly, he asked for an orange just now. He told me to give him a fruit each day. I knew his doctor asked him to do so..

I always gave away our fruits as they were abundant but this time, I have to keep some as my husband wants to eat. Good for him!

  3. An apple a day keeps the doctors away! Fruits are like miracles for our health. They can prevent and cure so much sickness. Days before my father had his triple bypass heart operations, my mum squeezed many cups of fresh oranges to feed him daily till his op was over. Surgeons commented that it was the first time they saw an old patient's stitches healed so fast!! So the fresh orange juices could actually repair and heal many parts of our organs too. I started to blend fruit juices for breakfast everyday and noticed my skin improved.
