Penang White Curry Noodle

Most people seem to be crazy of this new noodle in the market. I have seen this packet of noodles in our shop but I am not as excited as some people. Why? Because I actually dislike taking instant noodles.

My boy used to like instant noodles. So he tried it. He said it's nothing special. What about you? Have you tasted it?
My brother posted it and tagged me:
There were several responses..

  • Have you tried? Is that really good?

  • ohma, i've tried and dont think it's better than maggi's curry. I still prefer maggi.

  • Tried looking for it in a few places but all out of stock. Haven't tried it yet. But seems like it is the new craze.

  3. Yep, everybody was hoo-haa-ing about this about few weeks ago in FB, and I managed to try it as hubby got the noodles from his boss (who has a supplier in Penang), but somebody posted in FB that you can get it from Giant hypermarket.. Hubby ate 1 packet and I ate 1 packet. It tasted "normal" with some slight milky curry flavour.. Of course, the kari mee from kopitiam taste nicer, keke..

  10. Oh yes. It was a craze and we did try it. In fact, the curry paste made it aromas and tasty. We like it. Normally, we will add extra 'taupok' and beancurd sheets (fuchok) to make it tastier.

Well, this curry mee is in top 10, worldwide. I've tried it long time ago, to me in terms of instant noodles, this is really good! The soup taste like real curry, if you know what I mean. But of course, not good to eat instant noodles too often....

    1. I would prefer the actual fresh santan than the creamer. So definitely I prefer to eat curry noodles at the hawker's stall.
