Hari Raya Goodies

I have several Malay salesperson and one of them is a cute friendly guy. He is always cheerful and I always disturb him. One day, I asked if he balik kampung on Hari Raya. He said he would stay at home and help his mummy. Naturally, I asked what his mum going to prepare. Ayam rendang, lemang etc. So I simply said I love hari raya goodies!

On the second day of raya, this handsome guy came and asked if I had prepare the cheque for his company. I was surprise as it's hari raya and he came to work. Then he surprised me further with his bag of goodies!

 Here were what I got.....
satay kuah

ayam rendang

nasi himpit and lemang


My kids and I enjoyed eating them.
So kind of him..

In return, I gave him a box of Ferrero Rocher
and a box of kurma

    haha, I think he must have taken your words seriously though you may just intend to joke.. anyway, so sweet of him to bring you the rendang and nasi and lemang.. they surely look very very sedap!!! :)

    He worked so that he could go to your shop to collect the cheque and also to pass you the delicious food! So thoughtful of him and you were kind enough to reciprocate with some chocolates for him too.

We visited the famous Harrods.. the Harrods building   the store's interior has an Ancient Egyptian theme... Twin bananas

Today this cute little darling visited me. His grandparents brought him over for the very first time. He's so cute as he smiled readily. I was tempted to carry him and he was fine with that. Some babies don't like strangers.  I carried him and kissed his cheek several times..So adorable. Without hesitation, I gave him an ang pow. his granddad put him on the table and I took a shot of him.. When I went back home in the evening, I realized that the bunch of bananas at the altar has ripen. I brought the bunch to my shop and shared with my people. There was this particular twin bananas and my worker wanted them. She peeled them and I could see that they were adjoined all the way down. Well, old wives tale has it that those ladies who ate them would give birth to twins in future..
