9 June 15: Asakusa Kannon Temple
Asakusa Kannon Temple (also called Sensoji) is the oldest temple in
Tokyo. Its history goes back to 7th century. The legend says that in 628
two local fishermen caught a tiny statue in their net while fishing in
the nearby Sumida river. The head of their village recognized it as the
image of Kannon, Goddess of mercy. So they built a temple to enshrine
and worship the Kannon statue.

10 June 15: Disneyland
Tokyo Disneyland is a theme park based on the films produced by Walt Disney. It was opened in 1983 as
the first Disney theme park outside of the United States. Modeled after
Disneyland in California and the Magic Kingdom in Florida, Tokyo
Disneyland is made up of seven themed lands and features seasonal
decorations and parades.

I didn't go to Disneyland and the Imperial Palace Garden.. I googled about it and this website says:-
ReplyDeleteThe Imperial Palace East Gardens (皇居東御苑, Kōkyo Higashi Gyoen) are a part of the inner palace area and are open to the public. They are the former site of Edo Castle's innermost circles of defense, the honmaru ("main circle") and ninomaru ("secondary circle"). None of the main buildings remain today, but the moats, walls, entrance gates and several guardhouses still exist.
I have been to Asakusa and Imperial Palace Garden but not DisneyLand Tokyo. Nice places to visit.
