Pineapple
My boss always buys a pineapple to be placed on the altar every first and fifteen day of the Chinese calendar. After a few days, it will ripen. After which I will throw away. Not anymore since I knew how to cut it easily. Read my post here on how to cut it.
I will keep it in the fridge first. When I'm free, I will cut it and keep it in the tupperware. I can finish it in two days.
But this time I finished it in a day.
Firstly, I had some left-over chilly prawns. Heated them up and poured them over the pineapple. That's my lunch.
The boss bought fried rice for me so I had early dinner at the shop. When I came back in the evening for a short break, I poured the left-over rojak sauce over the pineapple. That's my dessert for the day.
The pineapple was sweet and it tasted heavenly with the sauce.
