Teddy is missing
This photo of Teddy was taken on the 4 Jan 2016. He's a quiet dog and only barked at strangers. Well, he's missing since Monday, 11 Jan 2016.
Recently, we had our new gate installed. Then the tiles were done. On that fateful day, the gate was opened as the man needed to do the tiles. Teddy was not chained but he was blocked. So he had no way to come out. Unfortunately, he found his way out and he dragged his feet out. He's a handicapped dog.
When I went out to work at noon on that day, the man was still doing his work. Teddy was still around. Later at 3pm, the man called the boss saying that our dog had run out. I heard it and I quickly drove back to search for him. But he was nowhere to be found.
I learned from my neighbor that she saw Teddy was out and thought that he was just taking a breather. But it was much earlier. Probably after noon time.
So I was thinking...why the man took such a long time to call the boss?
It had been a few hours since Teddy got lost. I went searching for him high and low but to no luck. I even searched for him morning, evening and just now in the hope to see him somewhere.
So sad..guess he had really lost his way home.
Wherever you are, Teddy, hope you are fine and if possible, please come back. I missed you..
Oh dear, you must be so sad and having sleepless nights. I am sure dogs will not loose his way home as their sense of smells are incredible. I think it found the lover outside and just having some flings before coming back home again. Pray to your Gods at the altar for strengths to wait for Teddy's return and hopefully guide him home faster. Perhaps you can print out a map of your area and slowly comb the radius after marking the areas he might be. When your car is near, he will appear when he smells you. So wind down the windows and drive slowly so that he could smell your sweats and tears! Good luck.
ReplyDeleteSad when I thought of him. But work keeps me occupied. I still hope that he could be found.
DeleteOh dear, I hope someone found Teddy and took care of him since he is a handicapped dog and dragged his feet, he shouldn't have gone far when you went back immediately to look for him, right?
ReplyDeleteI went back immediately but it was too late. It was hours before the man contacted the boss.
DeleteOh dear. So sad. Hope Teddy would be able to find his way back to you.
ReplyDeleteNot sure as he hasn't gone out that far before.

DeleteLast time we have a dog, he lost his way but managed to find his way home and can you imagine that? We stayed at 20th levels, he is able to find his way back! I agree with TM, their sense of smell is incredible, so I am sure Teddy will find his way back.
ReplyDeleteWherever he is, god will bless him.
In the meantime, you don't worry too much.
