The day and time were fixed. So yesterday morning, I was already at my customer/friend's place. She had already worn her saree ready. When I entered her house, it was cool as the AC was on. Great! Otherwise I would definitely sweat due to my excitement. She took me to her room which was also air-conditioned. How nice of her! She asked me to choose the color and immediately I chose orange/purple set. Both colors are my favorite colors! I quickly wore the blouse and the skirt. Then she started to tie the saree for me. Very professional and quick too.. It's done! Then she wore the ear-rings, necklace and pottu for me. Last but not least, the delicate bangles! We hurried downstairs as her daughter must be bored waiting for us. She was our photographer. My kind friend added final touch to the decorative area.. Photography session started.. Remember I said before that all my hamsters couldn't live together? Mummy hamster and the two female baby hamsters are separated. Actually they are grown up now. The two black male hamsters were together and the white male one was separated from them. Recently, my girl put all the three male hamsters together. Sometimes they fought but they got along well.  But yesterday, we found that one of the black hamsters was struggling for life and I saw him passed away. I quickly gave some lettuce to the other hamsters and as they were eating, my girl took the dead one away. Poor hamster. He was bitten to death by one of them or maybe by both of them! Anyway, rest in peace my little hamster.

For Deepavali festive mood, I have come out with a challenge. So far there are three posts for the challenge at Chang Jiang . My husband doesn't believe in celebration. It's always me who would initiate it for us..It's always me to buy birthday cakes for my kids. Since he doesn't like celebration, I had stopped buying cakes for him. But this time, I reminded him early in the morning yesterday. I just simply said, "Today is our anniversary!" No reply from him but I was sure he heard me. So we carried on with our work. After some time, I came close to him and whispered, "Wanna go makan tonight?" Yet again no reply from him. I presumed he's not bothered. So I just forgot about it. I went back for my dinner and when I came back later, I was surprised that he said, "Tonight we go makan." I was happy and at the same time bemused! Dismissal time a little earlier. At the door, he said, "I'll wait for you." I needed to go back and change. He had gone back earlier and taken his bath. I quickly took my bath and changed. He came back...

Time really flies! I have been married for so many years and my youngest kid is already 17 years old!  I like this shot! What did he say that made me smiled? That's my mum. She almost cried when I served the cup of tea to her. to the groom's place.. in Ipoh They were my late PIL. wedding dinner at Tuck Kee Restaurant That's my wedding cake! a toast with my colleagues.. yum-seng! Yes. October 8 is my wedding eve anniversary. I was working in Ipoh and I took a few days leave from work. I remembered that I took a bus back to my home in Taiping.  We had a dinner in one of the restaurants in Taiping. My relatives and friends were there.    That's my eldest brother on my right and my late MIL on my husband's left. I was busy walking around taking photos with my friends. My youngest brother was the photographer. A group photo with my family and relatives.  My mum, aunties, uncles, cousins, brothers, sisters and my late grandmother. The next day was my big  day, my Wedding!

On behalf of a company, my shop organised the promotion. Customers were needed to buy a certain product of a certain amount to be entitled an entry to a lucky draw. My cashiers were very obliging and we went full gear. Finally it was time to make a draw for the lucky winners. We got the winners and I had to phone them. The next day, the winners came on time and the representative of the company was punctual too. We were happy to present the gift to them. I was especially happy for one of them. Why? Because she was a teacher who takes ration for her school every month. She always comes with another teacher. OK, she received the gift and I expected her to take the gift back to her school. But no! She kept it to herself. Surely, a question came into your mind. How did I know?  Well, I was in the shop this morning. Luckily I was there as I usually don't work on Sundays.
