Ex-Teacher's Day treat?

I was a teacher but now I work in my husband's shop. It has been four years since I stopped teaching. I missed all those fun when I was in school. And I don't receive any gifts from students anymore..

Anyway, I was happy when Claire messaged me on Tues (15 may 12). She asked me out for lunch. Since I hadn't started cooking for lunch, I immediately said "ok"..

Claire came to pick me and we went to Assam House in First Garden. We had fun time chit-chatting. Elin was with us too..

We had a scrumptious lunch. This should be my best Teacher's Day treat!

Here's what we had...

Thanks, Claire!

  8. What a cool Teacher's Day treat. :)

Yes, nowadays compulsory to treat teachers. Some teachers at my sis' school will make a face if the gifts were too "low class" i.e. cheap for them. Haish.

If I am a teacher, I'd be happy to receive a handmade card made by my class students. 1 class 1 card. Enough. ^^
