I followed my girl to settle some stuff and finally I did my most important duty ie paid the tuition fees in full. Got a rebate of 500 pounds but the interest being charged on my credit card was 1.5%.
a great uni!
ReplyDeletei wish your precious daughter all the best!
xx
p.s. love your new template.
Thanks..
DeletePretty like their spacious compound.
ReplyDeleteThat Welcome poster looks so warm...
Deleteyes, and the first thing that caught my attention was the poster..I have some other familiar posters..
DeleteI miss my university life in the UK now
ReplyDeleteyes, should enjoy to the fullest there..
Deletewhat do mean there is an interest fee?
ReplyDeleteso they add additional cost if you pay in credit card?
yes, as the bank charges..
Deleteyes most important is pay the tuition fees..
ReplyDeleteand the rental too..
DeleteWhat a surprise to hear that they offered such a huge rebate! During my time, the students could not enter the classroom if they had not paid the fees! The lecturer would shoo them out as they really mean "business is business!"
ReplyDeleteyes, that is nice..at least save some money..
DeleteNot sure my girls can be that lucky to study abroad like your girl in future.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I know I will be a proud mummy for my two girls.
Deleteall mums are usually proud of their kids..
DeleteEven local colleges and universities are also good enough. I was so stupid that local universities would not take me in that time.
Deleteyes, local ones are not bad too..in fact so much cheaper..
DeleteOhh~~ What a nice university, I mean it looks like what I seen in the TV :D
ReplyDeleteNo chance for me to study abroad. Hopefully one day my kids will.
yes, your kids will be there one day..
DeleteNow that the pounds have dropped, it has become more affordable to study. I hope the pounds will drop even lower so that Yvonne and Yannie can send their kids there!
Deletewell, a year overseas is good enough..
DeleteLooks like a good place to study
ReplyDeleteI hope so..
Deleteouch kena interest 1.5% ....but then it's better than paying cash. Safer
ReplyDeleteyes, I don't have so much cash..
DeleteBut at least they give rebate. Then it's not that bad la
ReplyDeletecan pay by instalment but no rebate then..
DeleteOh not bad! Got rebates! : )
ReplyDeletegreat, right?
DeleteI hope my kids can experienced overseas Uni life.... I enjoyed mine 10 over years ago......they are still fresh in my memories.
