Shepherd pie

My girl had baked a shepherd pie before and it tasted good. We wanted to have it again so she baked it yesterday evening.

Yesterday was Friday and as usual I didn't cook for dinner. Normally I would take my kids for dinner when I come back from work earlier at about 8pm.

Since we wanted to go for a movie at night, my girl baked the shepherd pie as our dinner. When I came back from work, I quickly took a shower and ate the delicious piece of it. And off we went for a movie, Resident Evil at Ipoh Parade. The movie started at about 9.20pm and ended about 10.45pm. It was a rather short movie.

My girl used minced meat, chicken breast, potatoes, garlic, mixed vegetables and cheese too.

Today is the last day of the seventh month and it's also my Chinese calender birthday!
Wonder what I gonna have as breakfast..

  1. This pie is so English and my mum used to bake them too. That has been many donkey years since I last ate them. Hmmm...it is not even available for sale if I wanna eat them. Maybe I should visit Ipoh and ask your daughter to bake for me....
Do you think Maria's cafe at Greentown sells them?
