Chicken Curry

Whenever I yearn for chicken curry, I would usually buy ready-cooked ones. But this morning, I tried to cook on my own. This was the first time I tried cooking chicken curry with the instant curry paste.

the instant chicken curry paste

the instructions are very simple..

Firstly, I peeled the potatoes and then boiled it till they were soft.
Next, I fried the paste with the chicken till aromatic.
Then, I added the potatoes and some water.
I let it boiled for sometime before I poured low fat milk into it.
Lastly, I simmered it for about ten minutes.

the result?

I love it! It's not too spicy and most importantly,  my boy and my girl finished it!

  25. Wow! you cooked chicken curry for the first time using the ready mix paste! There are so many brands in the market and some are really good with fragrant smell. I have tried them and added curry leaves with the bark to enhance the taste! Great to go with potatoes.

    1. I know the Chef Celebrity Agnes chang and she herself taught me to buy all ready mix pastes to cook various dishes as busy workers like us have no time to make original pastes. She taught me to just add in some seasonings to perfect them.

  26. To be honest, I have never cooked curry dish. First, curry is not my favourite dish, for that reason I never put an afford to learn how to cook it. Secondly, my girls do not like hot and spicy dish so this is another reason why i still have not tried cooking curry so far in my cooking.
