Singapore

This morning, I received a postcard from Sharon. It's a lovely one. I have put it on my computer room's door. Thanks Sharon for this beautiful postcard!

enchanting Singapore


That brought me back to the time when I was in Singapore for the very first time with my best friend. We visited a few places in a day..

We met a wonderful Singaporean man who was willing to take us around.


When we bid goodbye to Mr Lawrence, he promised to pay us a visit in KL.
He really came to visit us and we brought him to a KFC outlet.

    My very first time to Singapore was with my parents and my brother. That time we were just about 5-6 yo.

    You ladies were so sweet and pretty until Mr Lawrence was attracted to become friends. Luckily he was kind and safe. These days the "friendly" men are not so safe in KL as many are con men! Muahahaha

    well singapore perhaps is one of the nearest and easiest
    place to go for us, as well as hongkong
    I owuld surely love to visit that one of these days

We visited the famous Harrods.. the Harrods building   the store's interior has an Ancient Egyptian theme... Harrods is a high-end department store located in Brompton Road in Brompton , in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea , London . Twin bananas

Today this cute little darling visited me. His grandparents brought him over for the very first time. He's so cute as he smiled readily. I was tempted to carry him and he was fine with that. Some babies don't like strangers.  I carried him and kissed his cheek several times..So adorable. Without hesitation, I gave him an ang pow. his granddad put him on the table and I took a shot of him.. When I went back home in the evening, I realized that the bunch of bananas at the altar has ripen. I brought the bunch to my shop and shared with my people. There was this particular twin bananas and my worker wanted them. She peeled them and I could see that they were adjoined all the way down. Well, old wives tale has it that those ladies who ate them would give birth to twins in future..
