Herbal Soup in Coconut

My mum has just come to our house. She will be here with us for some time before she goes back to her hometown.

Today we brought her to 'The Best Restaurant' which caters all kinds of soup. My mum had the lotus root soup and my husband had the pork's tail soup.

I had this special herbal black chicken soup in a coconut.
The soup has the sweetness from the coconut flesh.
Love it!

My mum has lots of stories to tell us as she has been away for more than 4 months.
Good to have mum at home!
Have a nice stay, mum!

  2. It is good that your mum has so much stories. My mum was like that too when she was younger. I used to be her best gossip partner but now I miss her good days when I see her so frail and old.

  3. It must be nice for you to have your mother stay with you for a while. I am sure she will have a good time living with you all for some time.

I like to drink the soup in the coconut. After drinking the soup, I will try to eat the coconut flesh but most of the time the flesh is very hard to scrape off as they use old coconuts to make this soup. Did you eat the coconut flesh?
