at Dave's bistro bar & grill, 1U

I left my girl quickly as I was already late for my appointment with my friends. Two of my friends couldn't make it at my newly appointed time ie 2.30pm instead of 12.30pm last Thursday.

I left Nilai at about 1pm and I reached 1U after 2pm. Luckily there was no jam. Otherwise, I would be overly late for my lunch appointment..

Glad to meet my friends again who actually bought herbal stuff from my shop.

So off we went to Dave's Bistro Bar & Grill.

My friend and I had the same dish - spaghetti pasta.

My other two friends had the above..

Clearly I was super hungry as I was the first to wallop my dish.

Since they were still eating away, I quietly paid the bill. 
Worth treating them as they had given me some business..

    Ah, one of my aunt likes to use the trick of going to the washroom during a meal but goes to pay the bill instead. So how did you do it - pay the bill without your friends noticing. What excuse did you use to leave the table to pay the bill?

    It's great to treat our friends meals as and when we like to. Not necessary an expensive meals.

    Besides having lunch once or twice a week with an old school mate who working at the same complex with me, I hardly have got the time to meet up with other friends even for a drink.

    We only catch up with each other via Facebook though most of us live in the same city. We really need to make an effort to meet up hopefully this Chinese New Year for a gathering. :D

    I will definitely drop by to try at Dave's. I have been dining in different outlets at One-U since I moved to live nearby. That night was my first try at Chicago's. I liked it there.

    mmm but going to Dave at 2pm is also kira as a good thing leh. That way you all can avoid the lunch time crowd You ladies can have comfy chit chat and makan without waiter/waitress waiting to clear the table for next customer

We visited the famous Harrods.. the Harrods building   the store's interior has an Ancient Egyptian theme... Twin bananas

Today this cute little darling visited me. His grandparents brought him over for the very first time. He's so cute as he smiled readily. I was tempted to carry him and he was fine with that. Some babies don't like strangers.  I carried him and kissed his cheek several times..So adorable. Without hesitation, I gave him an ang pow. his granddad put him on the table and I took a shot of him.. When I went back home in the evening, I realized that the bunch of bananas at the altar has ripen. I brought the bunch to my shop and shared with my people. There was this particular twin bananas and my worker wanted them. She peeled them and I could see that they were adjoined all the way down. Well, old wives tale has it that those ladies who ate them would give birth to twins in future..
