New year 2013 gifts

Well, I was surprised when TM presented me with a big gift!

On 7 Nov 12, I posted about the 2013 calendar. TM was so keen..
so it's for him!

    Very thoughtful of you all to give gifts to each other during gatherings. All the gifts seem to be from the heart with meaning to them and not "chin chai" buy and give.

      SP is also very nice person.. the first time i met him briefly he bought us very nice curry puffs, i still remember... and i got the very nice cookies from him too, i finished them all the very next day, hahaha!!

    I am happy to hear that you like this small gift. Honestly it took me 2 days to slowly find something suitable and this single teapot set struck my eyes! It looked elegant, arrogant and selfish tea set meant for only 1 person! How unique and suitable for the privileged blogger to enjoy her favourite brew to start a beautiful day...everyday! A tea cup a day starts a beautiful day!

    SP was very stunned and surprised to see me taking out the gift to show off the wrapping to them. He flashed his approval thumbs up and probably thought I was nuts to wrap a tin of Kueh kapit until so flowery! I must admit that I wanted to give my best and show my grateful thanks sincerely. Twin bananas

Today this cute little darling visited me. His grandparents brought him over for the very first time. He's so cute as he smiled readily. I was tempted to carry him and he was fine with that. Some babies don't like strangers.  I carried him and kissed his cheek several times..So adorable. Without hesitation, I gave him an ang pow. his granddad put him on the table and I took a shot of him.. When I went back home in the evening, I realized that the bunch of bananas at the altar has ripen. I brought the bunch to my shop and shared with my people. There was this particular twin bananas and my worker wanted them. She peeled them and I could see that they were adjoined all the way down. Well, old wives tale has it that those ladies who ate them would give birth to twins in future..
