My boxer May

May is having some problem with her wound since she had her uterus removed 4 months ago.The wound is not healing properly. She had antibiotics but her condition is not getting any better.

About two months ago, I brought the vet to my place to have a look at May. She prescribed May some medication and asked us to spray some medication onto its wound.

My youngest girl has been taking care of her but since she got into college, I have to care for her. But imagine my tight schedule.

Recently, May's wound seemed to be infected as it was watery. So yesterday before I got to work, I dropped by the vet's clinic and asked for her advice.

She suggested that I sent May to the clinic for treatment. Unfortunately, I couldn't do it so the vet sent his son to collect May from my home.

After a short while, I went to the clinic. May was already lying unconsciously on the operating table.

The vet picked a maggot from May's wound and told me that May's wound must have been infected 5 days ago..Oh dear!

May is left at the clinic for further treatment. I had paid for her medication - RM250. I have yet to pay another RM250 as deposit.

Hope she will be fine after the treatment..

  12. It is definitely not cheap to rear a pet now. My girls have been bugging me many times for them to rear a puppy.

  15. Pets are like babies, they cannot talk. So pet owners have to spend time with their pets to know its well being and health issues.

  16. Hope you dog will recover by now. These days pet groomers and vet doctors provide very good services to pamper and treat the pets. You can send you pet dog there twice a month to get spa treatment and complete check up for a small fee.
