Bee Hive Biscuits
Yesterday, I sent my boy to help at the shop as I needed to spring-clean my house. I had done some on Sunday but not totally done yet. I started cleaning my room at about 1pm and finished at 5pm. Now I could say it's clean. It was full of dust everywhere as I hardly had the time to clean my room regularly.
When I got back to the shop before 6pm, I had a pleasant surprise. I had these two containers of bee hive biscuits. One from my worker and the other from my sales promoter.
When I reached home after work at 10pm, I quickly had my shower. Then I sat in front of my laptop and ate them. They were a bit oily but crunchy! Yummy! I ate almost half! I got to stop!
But I haven't opened the big container yet. I should keep it for my visitors during CNY. But I can't guarantee that I won't finish up the other container of the biscuits..
Thank you, Leng and PC!
PC, your home-made bee-hive biscuits are really tempting. Glad your girl loves the peanut brittle that I gave in return. I have yet to give something in return to Leng.
Yummy! I like bee hive biscuits! : )
ReplyDeleteI have not eaten this for a while now. They must be delicious for you to eat so much at one go. Better hide the other container away until CNY or else it may all end up in your stomach before you know it! ;p
ReplyDeletehaha..now I can control myself..
Delete*drooling*
ReplyDeleteyummy..
DeleteJust for the CNY season, I thought you should hire the hourly maids to clean up your house since you are a busy working lady.
ReplyDeleteit's ok..I prefer to do it myself..
DeleteYou almost finished half the bottle of delicious bee hive biscuits!! I would not stop and finished right away. Get fat now and worry later is my motto.
ReplyDeletethat would be much..
DeleteIt has been a long time since I ate the Bee Hive biscuits. Looks like my friends and relatives have forgotten to buy them to serve guests.
ReplyDeleteToo bad that I don't know how to make this bee hive biscuits.Otherwise I will courier one tin to Anay and Wenn.
DeleteI think I had enough..
DeleteI finished one big tin too.. oh..me and my kids la.. not me alone..hahaha.. i told my son to buy back from Penang.. they are not so sweet... nice!
ReplyDeletethey are nicer if thinner..
Deletewow, you have spent 4 hours to clean just your room?? hahaha, guess it's either too messy or it's too squeaky clean now~~ :p
ReplyDeletehow great huh?? you just got back to your shop and there you got two tubs of biscuits awaiting you.. cool!! :)
Deletei like this biscuit also, but definitely i will eat just one or two pieces at one time.. surprise you can finish half a tub at one go!! :p
Deletehaha, you should keep the big tub and finished off the small tub.. so that you just had enough and won't fight for them with your visitors later during CNY, geez!! :D
Deleteoh, you gave your friend peanut brittle.. i like that too.. now, i think i can wallop half a tub for that, hahaha!! :D
Deletehaha..too much mess to clear..
Deletethose biscuits made my day.. :)
Wenn, thanks for the gifts. I have got from Hayley on Saturday. I love that white coffee. Thanks a lot.
ReplyDeleteThis year, I didn't buy cookies that much. I bake a bit of different type of cookies myself this year. I plan to bake cakes too when the day approaches.
DeleteI love peanut cookies, ribbon cookies, bee hives cookies, and butter cookies only. The rest of cookies, I like so so only.
Deleteyou are most welcome..
Deleteyou love coffee..will send you more next time..
I love bee hive cookies, too! My favourite cookies of all, hehe!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks again for your gift. You are such a generous friend!
you are welcome..btw, hope both of you have got the correct kiddie flask..
DeleteUsed to help or rather say play in making those hives biscuits when as a kid. Guess the new generation missed the 'fun' of seeing the hive being cooked and slowly leaving the metal mold.
ReplyDeletenow people would rather just buy..
Deleteit is one of my favorite...
ReplyDeletenow they got put sesame seed in it..
I love those with sesame seeds..
DeleteModern & busy families nowadays would have to buy all biscuits and cookies and leaving the kids not much opportunity to participate in the making of CNY stuff.
ReplyDeleteit would be nice to know how to bake some cookies..
DeleteMust confess no doubt its fun & play time for Bananaz then but the only one dislike is the beating of eggs with flour using the metal coil spring type. Those days modern equipments like blender are unheard of so have to use manusia-matic brand. Will always asked ma mama every 3 minutes 'OK already or not' coz it was so so so boring.
ReplyDeletethose were the days when it's time consuming when you wanted to bake cookies..
DeleteI love this bee hive biscuits!! Err basically I love all sorts of CNY cookies la! Haha xD
ReplyDeleteBut then this bee hive biscuits tend to be more oily if compared to others.. cannot keep too many days..
Deletethen they will become oily smell..not too good anymore..
DeleteI love those! Yummy! :)
ReplyDeleteyummy..
DeleteThat's my favorite.. yum yum
ReplyDeleteyummy..
Deletetht looks really tasty to me,
ReplyDeleteIt seems crispy with a little bit
distinct texture
It's nice and crispy..
Deleteand no wonder why was it called
ReplyDeletebee hive biscuit it sure looks
like that, was it made of honey too
no honey, just flour, sugar and eggs..
Deleteyou got two huge bottle huh
ReplyDeleteWell the most generous blogger
deserve to get more too
haha..they were more generous than me..
DeleteI guess this is the type
ReplyDeleteof snack that you can resist to eat
even your full of what
perhaps thats why you had the half of the first
bottle haha
once I started eating, I will continue till I'm satisfied..
Deletewhenver there's a cracker besides me even
ReplyDeleteI don't like to eat it i will
something is luring me onto it hahaha
and one I had the first bite i'll continue
until its gone
sometimes I just don't want to eat. Or else i can't stop eating..
Deletewell how i wish I could visit you
ReplyDeleteon CNY to have a taste of that
