Bee Hive Biscuits

Yesterday, I sent my boy to help at the shop as I needed to spring-clean my house. I had done some on Sunday but not totally done yet. I started cleaning my room at about 1pm and finished at 5pm. Now I could say it's clean. It was full of dust everywhere as I hardly had the time to clean my room regularly.

When I got back to the shop before 6pm, I had a pleasant surprise. I had these two containers of bee hive biscuits. One from my worker and the other from my sales promoter.

When I reached home after work at 10pm, I quickly had my shower. Then I sat in front of my laptop and ate them. They were a bit oily but crunchy! Yummy! I ate almost half! I got to stop!

But I haven't opened the big container yet. I should keep it for my visitors during CNY. But I can't guarantee that I won't finish up the other container of the biscuits..

Thank you, Leng and PC!

PC, your home-made bee-hive biscuits are really tempting. Glad your girl loves the peanut brittle that I gave in return. I have yet to give something in return to Leng.

  2. I have not eaten this for a while now. They must be delicious for you to eat so much at one go. Better hide the other container away until CNY or else it may all end up in your stomach before you know it! ;p

  3. Just for the CNY season, I thought you should hire the hourly maids to clean up your house since you are a busy working lady.

  4. You almost finished half the bottle of delicious bee hive biscuits!! I would not stop and finished right away. Get fat now and worry later is my motto.

  10. Used to help or rather say play in making those hives biscuits when as a kid. Guess the new generation missed the 'fun' of seeing the hive being cooked and slowly leaving the metal mold.

  11. it is one of my favorite...
now they got put sesame seed in it..

  12. Modern & busy families nowadays would have to buy all biscuits and cookies and leaving the kids not much opportunity to participate in the making of CNY stuff.

    1. it would be nice to know how to bake some cookies..

  13. Must confess no doubt its fun & play time for Bananaz then but the only one dislike is the beating of eggs with flour using the metal coil spring type. Those days modern equipments like blender are unheard of so have to use manusia-matic brand. Will always asked ma mama every 3 minutes 'OK already or not' coz it was so so so boring.
