Goodbye mountain-bike

Well, yesterday it was my girl's turn to help at the shop so that I could continue with my spring-cleaning. My target was the other two rooms which belong to my kids.

First of all, I cleaned the windows. Then the air-conditioner filters..We usually get the service from the AC man but this time round, his duty is so packed. So service can only be done after the CNY..

See..the filters were full of dirt..

I took them out and placed them on the toilet floor.

Sparkling clean after the scrub and spray..

The air-conditioner looks clean!


I continued with the cleaning and finally it's done. I was ready to leave for work and the newspaper collector passed by my house. I stopped him and sent him all my 'rubbish'. It cost RM2 for 6kg. I asked if he collected bicycles too. He nodded his head and so off went my bicycle. It had been hanging around for quite a number of years. 

So time to say Goodbye to our mountain bike which we had ridden on it a handful of times only. The last time I had ridden on it was about 5 years ago.

    The mountain bike looks quite ok in the photo. Could it still be used? I guess if no one is going to use it then might as well give it away as you have done. Did the newspaper collector give you any money for it? Some parts of it are made of steel so must have some value left.

      it can still be used but no point keeping when no one is using it..
      he paid me RM5.50 :)

    as far as I remember, the last time I used a mountain bike was way back in college ... and that's 6 years from now.. I am not even sure if I can still operate such vehicle LOL

      not sure if you know or not there is a type of air cond spray in the market. Take out the filter. Then spray directly to the holes in the air-cond then turn on the air cond. it will "melt" the dirt inside the air cond. Will feel cooler.

      I havent start CNY cleaning yet. Salute you la you so busy also do CNY cleaning. Not too exhausting ka to clean whole house yourself? Small house okay but big house tiring . Why not hire those hourly cleaning service to clean whole house instead of doing it your self for CNY? Concern you over tired for CNY

      I'm not sure about the AC spray that melts the dirt..
      I don't mind doing cleaning on my own..it's rather confusing here..
      I have so much things to throw..

    hmmm, you were cleaning the two rooms for your kids?? why not let them do their cleaning themselves?? they should know what are the things they want and not want better right??

      wow, squeaky clean aircond.. i guess from now onwards you won't need the AC man anymore right, since you can already clean the aircond yourself already.. save the high charges.. wow, means you are richer!!!

      haven't really started my CNY spring cleaning too.. well, guess i don't do it so early, later dust is collecting when CNY comes.. perhaps i can do it on CNY eve, haha~~

Twin bananas

Today this cute little darling visited me. His grandparents brought him over for the very first time. He's so cute as he smiled readily. I was tempted to carry him and he was fine with that. Some babies don't like strangers.  I carried him and kissed his cheek several times..So adorable. Without hesitation, I gave him an ang pow. his granddad put him on the table and I took a shot of him.. When I went back home in the evening, I realized that the bunch of bananas at the altar has ripen. I brought the bunch to my shop and shared with my people. There was this particular twin bananas and my worker wanted them. She peeled them and I could see that they were adjoined all the way down.
