Athens - cruise
We got this boarding ticket from our tour leader. We had to keep it and return to the ship captain when we returned from the second island..We only managed to visit two islands, Poros and Aegina instead of three due to the weather. That means we didn't visit Hydra.
ready to board the ship
view of the port
view inside the ship
lovely view
a snapshot with the young boss
awesome view
almost reaching Poros..
a small island
At 8.15 am, the ship sailed for three of the wonderful, beautiful Saronic Islands.
The visiting order of the islands was either Poros, Hydra then Aegina, or Aegina, Poros then Hydra. The visiting order did not change the duration of the stay on any of the islands.
Shortly after departure the guides and hostesses invited us to assemble in one of the lounges in order to give us information concerning the ship, the cruise program and the islands. This gave us the opportunity to ask any questions we might have. The trained staff ensured us having a fantastic day.
Within two hours we arrived in Poros, the smallest of the three islands. Poros was separated from the Pelopennese by a narrow strait, and the ship offered the best views of the enchanting Poros Town. We had approximately 50 minutes to take in this lovely village.
