More souvenirs

I had to confess something. I was so careless. I had packed my facial items and yet I had forgotten to put them in my luggage as I did last minute packing before I went to Greece. 

Imagine when I reached Athens, I realised that I only had a small amount with me which I put inside my sling bag. The weather was rather cold there and my face became dry. I used my sister's cream and immediately I had face allergy.

My face became red and my skin started peeling. I had to resort to water only. Luckily I was there for only a few days. The moment I was on my way back to Ipoh, I quickly called my beautician to book a facial treatment for the next day.

The next day, when she saw my face condition, she quickly did facial treatment for me. I felt better after that but it took a few days for my condition to subside.

So she and her assistant were the ones that I gave souvenirs first. I gave her a scarf bought in Dubai airport and I gave her assistant this magnet..

As I was walking with my sister to board the plane at the Athens airport, I suddenly recalled that I wanted to get a sling bag for my husband. We found the Armani sling bag..

I bought it without hesitation.



At Poros Island, I bought quite a number of unique magnets..
Guess I bought the most magnets in Athens..
Surprisingly, they are all blue..

    magnetic souvenirs are very handy to bring home from any places that you travel to..We bought some magnetic items during our trip to KLCC Aquaria too..hahaha..my girls gave some to her classmates.

    Glad to hear that your face is better now. Must be very uncomfortable to have face allergy. Good that your beautician can give you facial immediately and you don't have to wait long for an appointment with her.

    The blue colour used for those magnets is very nice - like the clear blue sea. And the shapes are nice too - fork, spoon, guitar, slipper, pitcher - not just boring squares. Just curious - are there any words behind the magnets to state where they were made?

      In order not to happen again, I prepare another small set meant for travel... Next time whenever I travel, I just grab it.

    My skin is so damn oily until the Biotherm Skin consultant who did microscopic tests on me exclaimed that I may never have wrinkles!!!!! Too much oil.....so lucky me, I can withstand allergies and dry weather. My wife always teased me that my face oil is enough to fry kangkung in the wok.

    After my Xian trip, I promised never to buy bulky souvenirs again as my luggage for full and heavy. I should just buy magnets!! They are so light and beautiful.

Twin bananas

Today this cute little darling visited me. His grandparents brought him over for the very first time. He's so cute as he smiled readily. I was tempted to carry him and he was fine with that. Some babies don't like strangers.  I carried him and kissed his cheek several times..So adorable. Without hesitation, I gave him an ang pow. his granddad put him on the table and I took a shot of him.. When I went back home in the evening, I realized that the bunch of bananas at the altar has ripen. I brought the bunch to my shop and shared with my people. There was this particular twin bananas and my worker wanted them. She peeled them and I could see that they were adjoined all the way down.
