My Recent Commemorative Mugs

I love to collect overseas mugs. It reminds me of my trips to places all over the world..

I bought this mug from Dubai airport while transiting to KL.
Actually I have been to Dubai airport quite a number of times before but I didn't get anything at all.
This time, it was my sister who initiated it.
She bought quite a number of items while transiting to Athens.

This mug is to commemorate my trip to Athens.
I finally found it on my last day in Athens.

Stuff that I got from Dubai airport.
I thought that I could give away but my girl wants them all..
Now I have two gel pens left..

    Both the cups look so nice! Do you use them to drink or are they for display only?

    It is no surprise that your daughter likes them all because they are nice. Ah, to think that when I was young, I like these kind of stationery items too but now that I am old, I don't know what to do with them so would rather not keep any as I can only use one at a time only.

    Do let her enjoy these things while she still likes them. :)

    Did you use your husband's credit card to buy things in Dubai airport or you have the local currency of Dubai in cash?

      I love fridge magnet a lot. Fridge magnet as souvenir is better than key chain.

    I just looked into my souvenirs and I have only bought one mug in my life from San Francisco. How sad!

      It is always nice to buy a souvenir for ourselves when travelling. My husband would buy fridge magnet.

    Nice mugs. Usually I would buy keychains or small decorative stuff if go vacation. Mugs too big and fragile. Lol

    but i don't collect mugs as commemorative souvenirs, they take up places and can be fragile.. i used to collect fridge magnets..

    I like the Dubai "camel" mug! so cute... Last time, I used to have this kind of mugs from Genting. Right now I dunno where my mum keep it already.

    The mugs are nice and lovely. You are the first friend I knew who collect mugs as souvenir :) Mostly collect key chains and magnets.

We visited the famous Harrods.. the Harrods building   the store's interior has an Ancient Egyptian theme... Twin bananas

Today this cute little darling visited me. His grandparents brought him over for the very first time. He's so cute as he smiled readily. I was tempted to carry him and he was fine with that. Some babies don't like strangers.  I carried him and kissed his cheek several times..So adorable. Without hesitation, I gave him an ang pow. his granddad put him on the table and I took a shot of him.. When I went back home in the evening, I realized that the bunch of bananas at the altar has ripen. I brought the bunch to my shop and shared with my people. There was this particular twin bananas and my worker wanted them. She peeled them and I could see that they were adjoined all the way down. Well, old wives tale has it that those ladies who ate them would give birth to twins in future..
